Our name, ITSE [ˈit-s̠e̞], is the direct Finnish-English translation of “oneself”/”itself”, and from Finnish paganism, deemed to be the part of the soul uniting your consciousness and sense of self. Empowering your health and wellbeing goals, we’re all about helping you find your own itse through the beauty of Pilates.
Whether you’re in the cosy comfort of your home or on the go, our online Pilates classes are designed to help you step into your best self. Honouring the principles of Pilates – Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Centre and Flow – ITSE holds space for your mindful movement and purposeful self-care.

Meet the Founder
Hi there! Welcome and thank you for sharing my journey of creating an inclusive, safe, and accessible space for Pilates.
With a history in competitive cheerleading resulting in my chronic back pain, multiple injuries and persistent niggles, I quickly learnt how good function (or the lack of) can dramatically impact your control in daily life. That’s when my passion awakened to help others rediscover their confidence and autonomy of movement.
A Pilates instructor since 2017, I’ve completed my certification in mat and clinical Pilates, with additional training in women’s health and pelvic floor management to support my clients through pregnancy, SUI and prolapse.
Turning a long-time goal into reality, I started ITSE to provide clinical-inspired Pilates classes that catered to our modern, digital lifestyles. Keeping you on track with your personal goals, no matter where you are or how busy you are, I truly believe that everyone should experience the joy and freedom of Pilates.
Outside of ITSE, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my two ragdoll cats, training for trail runs and attempting cheerleading tumbling (until I remember I retired for a reason).
